Slab Yard Diagnostic Protocol

Marble is a beautiful, premium stone — but it has well-known performance limits. The diagnostic kit confirms you're getting genuine marble (not mislabeled) and gives you a chance to see how the slab will react to the acids you'll encounter in real life.

Iron Oxidation Risk

Arabescato Orobico may contain trace iron deposits within the stone. When exposed to moisture over time — especially in showers, around sinks, or exterior applications — these iron deposits can oxidize and cause rust-colored staining from within the stone. This is not a surface stain and cannot be cleaned with standard products. A professional stone restoration company can often treat iron stains with specialized poultices. Ask your fabricator to inspect the slab for visible iron deposits before installation.
